Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are 13 or older and able to enter into these Terms.

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Don't impersonate others or choose a username designed to deceive, harass, or infringe someone's rights.
• Tell us promptly at Sakuri.hello@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Break the law, or use the Service to harm, harass, threaten, or abuse anyone.
• Post, share, or submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable, including through usernames, notes, or AI features.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls.
• Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Service except as expressly allowed.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or use it to send spam or malware.
• Reverse engineer or misuse the Service or its AI features (for example, to generate prohibited content).

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report content or users, or contact us at Sakuri.hello@gmail.com, and we may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You keep ownership of the content you create (such as your lists, ratings, notes, and username). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and share that content as needed to operate the Service and provide features you use (for example, sharing a list with a friend you've chosen). You're responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it.

Some features generate content using AI. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive despite our safeguards, and is provided for entertainment and information only — not as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. Don't rely on it as fact. Don't use AI features to create prohibited content; we may filter, log, and act on misuse.

Anime and manga information is provided by AniList and other sources and is offered "as is" for reference. Adult/explicit titles are filtered out by default. The Service may link to third-party sites (such as streaming platforms) and embed third-party content; we don't control and aren't responsible for those sites or their content. Sakuri does not currently include paid affiliate links; if we add them, we will disclose them clearly.

The Service, including its name, design, and original software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. Anime/manga titles, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. These Terms don't grant you rights to our or others' intellectual property except to use the Service as intended.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that catalog or AI content will be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sakuri will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any) or US $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sakuri from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or the rights of others.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be handled in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
